I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was fantastic, complete with a hidden kitchen and a view over the Bolton St Cemetery. The service was top-notch with a warm welcome. The location was superb, just a short walk from Lambton Quay and surrounded by government offices and local attractions. The dining experience left a bit to be desired, but overall, it was a great experience.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The mini suite was spacious with a large sitting area and kitchenette; however, the compact bedroom had not been made up when we returned. The hotel was very spacious, compact but very comfortable, and had air-conditioning that actually worked and was relatively quiet, which was a rarity in my experience of Wellington hotels. The rooms also offered a lovely view and were central to everything. The service was universally helpful and polite, although there were some hiccups like the mini iPad not working and promised amenities not being delivered. The location was excellent, very central and convenient for various activities, but the hotel felt a bit pokey for a 5-star establishment. The dining experience had its ups and downs with good coffee but average food quality. Overall, a mixed experience with some standout positives.
