Reviews and Ratings
I found the hotel to be well-appointed and spacious for a few nights' stay, meeting my expectations. The location was excellent for ferry access and exploring the city, with convenient parking services. The dining options were varied and satisfying, but the room setup with single beds and no ensuite was not ideal for the price.
I had a wonderful stay at The Bolton. The rooms were spacious and very comfy, with bigger windows offering a lovely view of the garden. The facilities were top-notch with great kitchen amenities and even a washing machine/dryer. The service was exceptional, going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The location was convenient, close to public transport and government offices but a bit far from the city center. The dining experience was delightful, catering to different cultures, though a tad below the expected standard for the price. Overall, a great value for the money.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was fantastic, complete with a hidden kitchen and a view over the Bolton St Cemetery. The service was top-notch with a warm welcome. The location was superb, just a short walk from Lambton Quay and surrounded by government offices and local attractions. The dining experience left a bit to be desired, but overall, it was a great experience.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The mini suite was spacious with a large sitting area and kitchenette; however, the compact bedroom had not been made up when we returned. The rooms were excellent, and we paid the next day for the service. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went the extra mile to assist, making our experience so much better.
The hotel was very spacious, compact but very comfortable, and had air-conditioning that actually worked and was relatively quiet, which was a rarity in my experience of Wellington hotels. The rooms also offered a lovely view and were central to everything. The service was universally helpful and polite, although there were some hiccups like the mini iPad not working and promised amenities not being delivered. The location was excellent, very central and convenient for various activities, but the hotel felt a bit pokey for a 5-star establishment. The dining experience had its ups and downs with good coffee but average food quality. Overall, a mixed experience with some standout positives.
The hotel was very nice, clean and quiet, you wouldn't have known there were other guests. The room was spacious enough for our needs, but it wasn't quite ready to my request regarding the room setup.
I was really impressed with the spacious and comfortable rooms equipped with everything I needed such as a kitchenette, microwave, and washing machine. The beds were fantastic, and the TVs were top-notch. However, there were some issues with service that made the experience less smooth.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were well-appointed for a business traveler, with a kitchen, living/dining area, and a large bathroom. However, I did encounter a slight issue with one side of the bathroom being burnt black, and the room wasn't serviced on the first day. The service was exceptional, with staff being very friendly and courteous, offering help with reservations and great tour and restaurant advice. The location was convenient for my business needs nearby but slightly out of the way for nightlife. The dining experience was good overall, though the food was lacking flavor and heat. The facilities were adequate for my needs during the stay.
The hotel's rooms were nice, comfortable, and clean, including a kitchenette, making the stay enjoyable overall. The service was exceptional with a willingness to assist even late at night, but the dining options left something to be desired. The location was excellent, providing easy access to key attractions, although a bit away from our usual preferences. My experience at the hotel was positive, with some minor drawbacks to consider.
